Workflow
From a Script to a video and clearance report
A completed eligible export includes the video, an A4 Scene Clearance Report and structured evidence for the production’s review.
The Scene Library brings together Scripts, their Takes and available videos. Before rendering, review Video settings: the frame rate, optional slate and any phone model or screenplay excerpt you want to supply for the selected document. Those details are supplied by the production; the report does not independently verify the physical phone.
Every successfully completed eligible video export automatically includes three files: the MP4, an A4 Scene Clearance Report in PDF and a structured JSON evidence file. The report is included even without a slate. A shared Clip ID and the report’s QR text identify the export; the file hashes help compare the exact files. These identifiers are not a signature, an online approval service or proof of legal clearance.
The report brings together available production and scene details, prepared names and text, image references and available source information, UI details, actions and sampled screenshots of the rendered phone UI. Prepared content and typing source text can be included even when they never appear in the video or are not sent in the scene. Some actions share one screenshot, and missing captures are identified. Missing source or rights information stays explicitly unrecorded.
Use the package to show the production’s reviewer what is planned and what the exported scene shows. It does not obtain permissions or record a legal or creative approval. Review it alongside the video and keep any permissions or approvals separately, associated with that exact Clip ID. A new render creates a new ID; later scene changes do not update a completed report.
Keep the app in the foreground during export. Report generation must finish before a new package is presented as complete; rendering and saving or sharing are separate steps. Review all three files for confidential content before forwarding them and check the destination files. Sharing uses the destination you select; a share result is not proof that a recipient has received or retained the package.
New video export requires a valid phone licence assigned to the Controller. Existing video-only exports remain available without a report; render the scene again if you need a report for its current state. Rehearse the exact export and delivery workflow before relying on it during a shoot.
